Founded in 1965 (as the Alvarado Arts Workshop) by renowned artist Ruth Asawa, SFArtsEd offers summer camp, in-school artists-in-residence, after-school programs, Musical Theater Company programs, apprentice programs for college and high school students, and public arts exhibits.
