Shadowbox Cabaret bills its entertainment as sketch comedy and rock and roll. As such, its shows can provide a family night out - if your kids are older, and willing to be entertained with a mixed-ages crowd. Be aware, however, that most shows would easily earn a R rating if they were films. Live shows aren't rated, so before buying tickets we suggest calling and asking some questions about the specific content of the show you're considering.
It's also worth noting that Shadowbox is a theater that happens to serve drinks. Patrons are encouraged to enjoy alcoholic drinks responsibly and without disturbing those around them; to that end, drink service stops at the beginning of the show, resumes at intermission, and then ends - after intermission, no further beverages may be purchased on the main floor.
If your family is mature enough for the unique shows offered at Shadowbox, we suggest you order tickets well in advance - the venue has quite a few fans.
