This Coconut Grove based group offers
sailing lessons, kayak instruction, and out-of-school education and recreation programs for children with or without disabilities. Instructor:student ratio is 1:4, and swimming proficiency is not required to participate. Children learn to navigate 20 foot boats and smaller dinghy type boats, in which they can learn to sail solo. Summer camp sessions are offered. In addition to sailing and kayaking, children learn science, math, and reading and see special guests (for example, zoo animals and their keepers), and participate in fine arts, music, dance and video/photography production. afterschool program runs from 3:30pm-5:30pm on weekdays and Saturdays during the school year, with transportation available from select middle and elementary schools. A
