A Chicago lakefront tradition since 1939, Shoreline offers Lake Michigan sightseeing Skyline Tours, Chicago River Architecture Cruises, and efficient Water Taxis between tourist destinations.
Shoreline's Skyline Lake Michigan Harbor Tours leave from Navy Pier daily, April to mid-October (check website for schedule). The fee is $14-$15 for adults, $13-$14 for seniors over 65, and $6-$7 for children ages three to 12 (children under two are free).
Shoreline also operates a Harbor Water Taxi and a River Water Taxi. The Harbor Taxi runs between Navy Pier and the Shedd Aquarium. The River Taxi runs between Navy Pier, Michigan Avenue, and the Sears Tower/Union Station. Frequent departures, convenient docks, and a fun ride make this a great way to get around! Ticket prices range from $2-$13 (children under three are free).
