The Silver Diner is an authentic, old-fashioned diner, complete with comfy booths, tableside jukeboxes, and - most importantly! - huge, thick milkshakes. Serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, the menu features all the standard blueplate specials (meatloaf, roast turkey, etc.), burgers and melts, plus healthier fare (including low carb and vegetarian) for those alarmed at the thought of downing all those calories... A kid's menu features kid-sized versions of blueplates, sandwiches, breakfast, shakes, and desserts. The menu doubles as entertainment when coupled with the provided crayons. Most of the Silver Diner locations have "Kids Nights" on Tuesdays from 5pm-8pm, which feature activities such as coloring contests, balloons, crafts, face painting, entertainment, and prize giveaways. Silver Diner also has a free Kids Club for kids 12 and younger that includes a Silver Diner Kids Club wristband, a free milkshake every Tuesday during Kids Night when wearing the wristband, a certificate for a free entrée and shake mailed for each birthday, and quarterly mailers with special offers.
