about Six Flags Over Georgia:

Six Flags over Georgia offers visitors an assortment of rides for all ages and tastes. Kiddie rides feature Bugs Bunny and other Looney Tunes characters, while the thrill seekers in the family can take on rides with names like GOLIATH, Georgia Cyclone, and Batman the Ride.

SFOG is also home to Thomas Town, which features a ride-on train (enter through a realistic looking Knapford Station.) During the ride, guests are treated to an audio-story and Thomas trivia questions, and get a glimpse of Cranky the Crane and Tidmouth Shed while taking a turn around the fictional Sodor. The slow-paced ride is tame enough for all ages, and the passenger cars are roomy enough for adults to ride comfortably. The exit takes guests through (what else?) a Thomas-themed gift shop, stocking apparel, toys, and accessories. In the Thomas Town photo area, Sir Topham hat regularly poses for photos with young visitors. A large rubber-floored, railroad-themed play area features plenty to climb on and up, and telescopes to see who's below (without them seeing you!) In an adjacent space, crawl-throughs of Bertie the Bus and Harold the Helicopter beckon little ones. Note: there are no restrooms in Thomas Town, but they are a quick walk over a nearby bridge.

Since 1972, the Riverview Carousel has operated at the park, after being relocated from Riverview Amusement Park in Chicago. The carousel debuted at the Chicago park in 1908, and features beautiful, hand-crafted horses and chariots. A truly gorgeous vintage ride.

Restaurants and snack stands - including Johnny Rockets, Papa John's Pizza, Daddy O's Southern favorites, and Ben & Jerry's ice cream - are located throughout the park.

Discount tickets are available online. Season passes are also offered. The park is closed in the winter. Park management recommends spending 8-10 hours at the park for maximum enjoyment, and frequenting the park's restaurants at non-traditional times (like 11am or 2pm) to beat the lunch rush. Make sure to pick up a live entertainment schedule when hitting the park to best plan your visit.

Diapering and nursing centers are located in restrooms throughout the park. Stroller rentals and eight ATM machines are available. All major credit cards are accepted at most park spots.

Individual season passes are available beginning at $49.99 (sales tax not included).
