Six Flags St. Louis, an amusement park located 30 minutes southwest of downtown St. Louis, features more than 40 rides, including five major roller coasters and three water rides. The park even has its own lodging area - Yogi Bear's Jellystone Resort.
The Bugs Bunny National Park is the destination for little ones: This section offers numerous family and kiddie rides, as well as a three-story treehouse play structure and an interactive water play fountain.
Next door, Hurricane Harbor, a 12-acre water theme park, features "body slides," inner-tube slides, a family raft thrill ride, an "adventure river," a huge wave pool, and an interactive children's water play area. Admission to the water park is free with regular admission to Six Flags.

No outside food, beverages, or coolers are allowed in the park; exceptions are made for baby formula and for those with special dietary needs. Also, make sure to budget an extra $10 for parking.
