The 12,300 square foot Skate Park at Bohrer Park is designed for in-line skaters, BMX bikes (not allowed on Wednesdays or Saturdays), and skateboarders. Within the skating arena there are 13 ramp/box structures constructed of pressure-treated wood with a smooth durable surface known as Skatelite, and the ground level skating surface is ultra smooth asphalt The ramps and boxes allow for varying conditions to suit the interest and skill of all skaters, the ground level skating surface is ultra-smooth asphalt.
The Skate Park at Bohrer Park holds classes and programs for all ages, including annual competitions and a toddler program called "Things That Roll." The park can also be rented for birthday parties or special occasions. Select Saturday and Sunday mornings are available; call for more information.
For those hot summer days, there is a main entrance building that houses vending machines, coin operated lockers, a misting system that keeps kids cool, and a counter area that is staffed.

tips:
Only helmets are required. However, the use of elbow and knee pads are highly recommended, and in-line skaters must wear wrist guards. Protective gear is available for rent.
