Sky Harbor International Airport is one of the top 10 busiest airports in the country, serving more than 41 million passengers each year. Located just five minutes from downtown Phoenix,
Sky Harbor is close to the Phoenix Convention Center,
Chase Field, and
US Airways Arena, and offers
easy access to area resorts and outlying communities. The airport is served by 21 airlines providing nonstop service from Phoenix to nearly 100 cities in the US and 16 cities in Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Families should arrive at the airport at least two hours prior to departure if parking or checking bags and at least 90 minutes prior to departure otherwise.
Terminal Four is especially busy and warrants a time cushion. Parking garages are extremely busy. Before you leave home, call the

Free shuttles run continuously between terminals and to/from terminals, the airport's West and East economy parking lots, and the Rental Car center. Look for the green and white buses. Visit the website to check out economy parking and offsite parking options and pricing.
Cars can be rented from the Rental Car Facility located at 1805 E. Sky Harbor Circle South, which accommodates all airport rental car companies, their rental counters, and vehicles. The facility is open 24 hours, seven days per week. Upon arrival in Phoenix, please proceed to the airport curb at the baggage claim level. Look for the Rental Car Shuttle pick up area, which takes passengers to the center. All rental car counters are located in the Rental Car Center. Limousine, taxi, and hotel shuttle services are available from any terminal.
Skycap porters can assist in providing wheelchairs and baggage handling.
Luggage carts cost $3 to rent and are available on the curb, at ticketing and baggage claim, and in the parking garages.
Shopping and dining options are readily available and not outrageously priced.
Wireless Internet service is available free of charge to all airport visitors. The
Phoenix Airport Museum serves the public at
Sky Harbor and its two auxiliary airports in Deer Valley and Goodyear.
Artwork promoting Arizona's unique cultural heritage is displayed throughout the terminals and may be viewed without going through airport security areas. All displays are free and accessible 24 hours a day.
