Smart Teacher Smart Kid tutoring instructs students of all ages in all subjects. Dr. Larman's Smart Teacher Smart Kid was founded by Dr. Darryl Larman who is a nationally known expert in the field of Learning Disabilities, ADHD, ADD, Reading Disabilities, Discalcula, and Dyslexia.

The center uses only individualized one-on-one instruction in a number of areas including basic and advanced math, reading, sciences and gifted programs. Specialized programs for students with dyslexia are also available.

The availabilty of open tutoring areas and private study rooms in the center provides the appropriate learning environment for students based on their individual needs.

SAT, ACT, and - the ever important - FCAT test prep classes are also available.

There are numerous satellite locations throughout the area and certified instructors are also available for in-home tutoring.

Smart Teacher Smart Kid is the best decision my wife and I have yet to make regarding my son's future and self esteem. For around a year he was in a academic slump that was just going lower and lower. He was diagnosed with ADHD. But now that he is doing so well at school he is actually talking about making career decisions and he feels that these plans are within his grasp. Also, the tutoring service was more financially reasonable than the others that we interviewed. Just want to say that we are very pleased and that Dr Larman's plan has worked for us and we want to share this information with others who may benifit.

My daughter didn't want to go to school and I couldn't understand why. Finally, after tearful homework sessions, she confided that she just "didn't get it" meaning she didn't understand her new algebra class. She was so frustrated and I understood too since I had always had trouble in math. Smart Teacher took her step by step with the attention of a one to one teacher and now she actually is excited about learning more. It is wonderful and amazing. I can't say enough.

We were reluctant to start tutoring for our son because we had such poor results from prior attempts. But Dr. Larman's team got Jarod right back on track. We like the one teacher one student ratio and the respect and kindness that the staff has offered our son. We are glad that we took this first big step to enrich Jared's life and give him confidence in these important pre-high years.

This program held our son's attention and put him right up there in competition with the smartest kids in his Jr. High class. We are so pleased and impressed with both our son and the program.
