Great place for a cut. My kids are 8, 6, and 3. I was a bit nervous about trying it out because of the photos of the crazy colors/interior - seemed like it may be a bit of sensory overload for my son with autism. But, turned out to be fantastic! So many different ways to entertain the kids, and the stylist was very patient and quick while cutting my 6 yr old son's hair, even though he was fussing now and again. Typically we've had to just go with a quick buzz cut with me holding him down for the stylist. So, anyone who can give him a cute cut, and have him sit for the whole thing is worth their weight in gold! I think the treasure machine/computer thing is also a good incentive for the kids to behave during the cut since they have that fun thing to look forward to at the end.

We have always loved Snip-Its and both of our girls have gotten their haircut there from their very first haircuts. We tell everyone we know who has kids about Snip-Its because we've always had such a positive experience there and our kids love coming---to the point that when they get money in birthday cards they say, "Can I get a haircut?" Wow! Haircuts win out over toys! That's pretty impressive.

We took our six year old for a hair cut and she just loved the place. We would rate this place as one of the very best kid’s friendly places in the twin cities without any reservation. Professional staff, fun and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Our son is three years old and he just loves this salon. He is generally a hyperactive kid, but at Snipits he sits still through the entire haircut – he thinks if he behaves then he will get a lollypop at the end and also the “magic-box” will turn a lock of his hair into a prize.

Unless you visit Snip-its, you will never imagine that a salon can be this colorful. My daughter Amber got a very cute inverted bob cut. This was our second visit and just a few days before her sixth birthday, so I indulged her with a mini-manicure this time. What can I say… She's my little princess!

The moment we walked in, my son was mesmerized with all the bright colors and lively music… then he had a great time playing some of the games while getting his haircut. We have tried other salons, but our visit at Snipits was definitely the most fun haircutting experience.
