the store is the perfect size for lil ones
the owner has a soothing yet animated voice
kids love her and the patience she has for the squirmy ones i bet if your child came in dressed up like spiderman or a princess she would hang up side down to cut their hair or climb up a tower to fix rupunzels braids .
I hope all get a chance to try this place
it really is some place special .

wow. I read the ratings, but couldn't believe that a place could be so good. The phone rings a lot and it can be a little distracting but the haircutter doesn't get distracted and she does a wonderful job. usually my son cries. Here he did not. I hope he doesn't next time! It has been the best place for my family. And my son wants to go back to play.

I have three children. I took my son to this place because he is a bit tough to handle and he needs alot of attention. I had a wonderful experience there and the hair cutter was wonderful. My other children spent the time playing with the train set in the store. My kids did not want to leave and the little one cried because we had to go. the haircutter asked me first and then she offered him a lollipop but said no one was allowed to eat in the store (wink wink) and out he walked. She let all three of my children pick a prize and a lollipop. My son looked great and no one was frazzled. It was a great experiance and i reccomend it to everyone. We traveled far and it was well worth it. Next time all three kids will get haircuts. I think it was great that everyone got a lollipop and toy even though they did not get haircuts. Go there is all I can say.

Suzanne alway's welcome's you with a smile, and gives you a great hair cut. the children love going to her shop, so much to see and enjoy.

just came back from an appointment to this place. loved it. good service, pretty haircuts. my twins (boy and girl) loved it too. I drive from scarsdale. Better than the kids places near me.

Wow!I also have a very special kid. I was shocked how the owner got on her knees to talk to my daughter, touching her head very lightly to get her used to being touched and knocking trains off the toy tracks.she had my daughter laughing soon and followed her around the tracks cutting her hair.I never saw anything like it. my daughter looked better than she ever has!

There is nowhere where I can get my kids haircut except this place. I've tried all of the others and been asked to leave. Let's just say that my kid is extra extra special. Nothing bothers Suzanne. She is the most patient hair cutter I have ever seen.

My child is not the best fan of getting his haircut...So I had to find a place convenient for both him and I ... And I think with the haircutters patience, and wonderful imagination allow us to share a great experience... Giving me hope that haircuts will no longer be an issue...thank you guys

They had a new haircutter there who is not there now. Recently we had a great haircut.

My son enjoys the train table set-up and toys. Unfortunately the haircuts are not very well done. I've had to return to Manhattan.

I took my autistic son there one day after closing hours. I couldn't get there earlier and i asked the owner to stay. She used all of her know how and experience with special needs kids to give my son the easiest haircut he ever had. But by easiest i still want to say that he never sat still, and started running around at some points. She sat him finally in front of a karaoke machine and they sang together and watched themselves while she cut. Amazing. She told me she had been a para in a school for autistic children. And he looked good too!

My daughter graduated from the kiddie car chair to the big kid chair and somewhere along the way I figured out that I could get a great haircut there too. She cuts my hair to suit my style; she never tells me "that's how it's supposed to look, you'll get used to it." She is the hardest working woman I know, and she clearly loves what she does. I've actually seen her cut a toddler's hair while he's racing around the Thomas the Tank table. She's amazing.

THIS IS A GREAT PLACE FOR A HAIR CUT AND A RAINY DAY. THEY ARE SO FRIENDLY THERE AND MY DAUGHTER LOVES GETTING HER HAIR CUT.
