about Soundview Playfield:

Small Soundview Playfield opened in June 2003 and boasts two new climbing structures (including one for tots), swings, play equipment, and a kidney-shaped wading pool surrounded by new grass, shady trees, and benches. Pillars located throughout the park feature art tiles and colorful mosaic scenes, and new native plantings are combined with grassy areas for playing or resting.

Picnic tables are located in the park, but the bathroom is a playing field's walk away (a Port-a-Potty is located at the playground). A running track, softball field, and tennis court sit adjacent to the park; call for court reservations.

getting there:

From I-5 south: Exit at N 85th Street (#172) and follow N 85th to 15th Avenue NW. Turn right. Drive about one-half block; as 15th begins to curve to the right, get in the left hand turn lane and turn left onto NW 90th Street (look for large "Olympic View" sign). Drive one-half block to parking lot on the right. The park is just west of the softball field. From I-5 north: Exit at Northgate Way (#173) and keep right at fork in the ramp. Turn right onto N Northgate Way to N 105th Street. Take slight left onto Holman Road N, and a slight right onto NW 90th Street.
