Mom's Time Out is a non-profit group for Utah mothers experiencing the isolation that can come from moving to Utah, altering a career to care for children, being an older parent, or not being part of the dominant Utah culture. It is dedicated to creating a community within a community where Utah moms can find support and friendship. The organization offers playgroups, meetings, children's outings, friendships, and mental stimulation from other adults. The South Valley Chapter primarily serves moms (or soon-to-be moms) in Sandy, Draper, Bluffdale, Riverton, Herriman, South Jordan, and the southern part of West Jordan, however all moms are welcome to join. Visitors may attend three meetings free. The group has no affiliation with any religious organization or church.
