The Mother's Group strives to provide a supportive, nurturing community for families to share meaningful experiences, fun, and fellowship that strengthen family bonds. SMMC hosts family events, moms' nights out and new member coffees; coordinates playgroups, special interest groups, and childcare co-ops; communicates educational information through a monthly newsletter and a parenting educational series; publicizes volunteer opportunities; and supports its members "in a pinch" and charitable organizations in the community. The Club consists of approximately 350 members, most of whom live in Mill Valley, Sausalito, Tiburon, Belvedere, Corte Madera, and Larkspur.
