about Speed: The Ride:

Speed: The Ride is a roller coaster that roars to life inside the NASCAR Café and plunges outside into a misty underground tunnel, emerging into a breathtaking loop. After whipping past the 192-foot marquee of the Sahara Hotel, it suddenly reverses, and riders are catapulted backward to the starting line. Children must be 48 inches tall to ride.

From I-15, take the Sahara Avenue exit and go east. The Sahara Resort is at the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard South, less than a quarter mile from the freeway exit.
