The Springville Museum of Art is Utah's first museum for the visual fine arts. The museum houses over 2000 works featuring 150 years of Utah fine art, 20th Century Russian and Soviet Socialist Realism, American Realist art, and 15 exhibitions per year.
The Springville Museum of Art takes the stuffiness out of art and makes it fun and interesting for kids by hosting Family Nights, Children's Art Festivals, Evenings for Educators, and a Sunday Concert Series. Information about these events is available on SMA's website.
Art classes for children ages 10-11 are held during the summer months. Sessions run for four weeks in June and July. Check the museum's website for details.
The museum's Atrium Cafe is open for lunch on Fridays and Saturdays from 11am to 2pm.
The Spanish Moroccan-style museum was built in 1937, and is available for receptions and rentals. Call for more information.
