about St. David's Preschool:

St. David's Preschool serves children between two and five years old. The year-round program features culturally-diverse educational activities including art, music and movement, dramatic play, science, pre-math, language, literacy, and spirituality. The school has a large, well-equipped playground with plenty of space and shade.

Full-time and part-time childcare are both offered - including early morning and late afternoon hours. Sibling discounts and tuition assistance programs are available. Nutritious snacks are provided.

Children in diapers are welcome; the school teachers are happy to assist in toilet training routines.

getting there:

From I-5, take Clairemont Drive East, drive up the hill. Turn right onto Burgener Boulevard. At the third stop sign Burgener turns into Milton Street; St. David's Church and Preschool are on the NW corner, across the street from Longfellow Elementary School. Go past the stop sign and turn right into the parking lot. The preschool is downstairs.

A wonderful preschool with teachers who truly have an interest in helping children learn. The classrooms are filled with fun and interesting things to keep the little ones engaged. There is a large outdoor play area with many amenities. Our son has made many friends there but best of all is the progression we have seen in his interest and awareness of the world around him.

This is a great preschool. The philosophy is based on Reggio Emilio, which I'm very impressed with. My older daughter went to a Waldorf kindergarten, and this is similar in its homey atmosphere and focus on creativity. If you are looking for an excellent preschool environment for your child, add this to your list to visit. It has wonderful, loving teachers and lots of wide open space for the children to play. Every week there is a new subject covered and every day there is a new project to do or learn about. My son can't wait to show me his artwork or tell me what he learned that day.
