St. Louis Park's Aquatic Park, located at The Rec Center, features a zero-depth entry play pool for younger kids, as well as a four-story water slide older kids can zoom down on inflatables.

Lap swim lanes, a sand-and-water play area, diving boards, a sun deck, a picnic area, a concession stand, and locker rooms round out the park's offerings.

Special hours are reserved for parents & tots (Mon-Fri 10am-11am), teens (see website), and adult lap swimmers (11am-1pm & 5pm-8pm).

Note: If the temperature drops below 70 degrees or there are less than 20 people in the pool during any given hour, the pool will close. Call 952.924.2567 for weather updates if conditions are iffy.

Parties: A gazebo next to the pool is available for rent (11am-1:30pm, 2pm-4:30pm, or 5pm-closing; $45/non-residents, $35/residents), but the fee does not include waterpark admission for guests, which is discounted $1/guest with gazebo rental. The entire pool can be rented for $325 per hour evenings after closing.

Season Passes: Residents pay $32-$42 for unlimited entry to the park; non-residents pay $42-$52. Passes can be purchased online.
