Kids ages four to 16 can get acting, dance, and voice training at local branches of Stagecoach, an international chain of part-time performing arts schools offering summer camps and weekly classes throughout the metro.
Stagecoach's intimate classes are equally divided between acting, singing, and jazz/modern dance lessons. Younger kids spend a half hour on each, older kids do an hour of each per class. Performances for family and friends are scheduled twice a year, and at the end of each summer camp or workshop. Third year students can audition for the Stagecoach National Showcase Production, which takes place in London.
