We just held a birthday party there for my daughter and it was bad dealings from the beginning. When we talked with Gabe who coordinates the parties, it sounded like there would be pretend play around the theme of Little Mermaid, with inclusion of themes like pirates for boys who would attend. We sent in the deposit and were told that the person coordinating our party would soon call us to discuss details, but this never happened. At the last minute, the coordinator of the party changed and it seemed like there was no preparation. The kids spent 45 minutes dancing, using music from little mermaid, but there could have been a dramatic reading of Little Mermaid or something in the beginning to get the kids up for it. No costumes, no props, no drawings. Some didn't even know the story. The 60 minutes of time that the website discusses was more like 30 minutes. And the guests drove all the way out to Chesterfield for this! Also, when we went to pay, they said that we had a full remaining balance, seeming not to have received our deposit. Afterward, we noticed the deposit had cleared. We are in midst of negotiating with them because the Basic Party Package went from $200 to $265 because of this error, with about half the time specified for the party--an no planning. My daughter was happy to see her friends, but we were all disappointed.

Stages is an amazing resource for our family. We love Stories @ Stages and we try to take advantage of their workshops and camps whenever we can b/c they are so worth it!!!
