Hostelling International- Stanford Hostel
offers visitors a unique opportunity to spend the night inside a historic nineteenth-century farm home, surrounded by the Cuyahoga Valley National Park
. The hostel is situated in a farm house built about 1830 by George Stanford, one of the first settlers in the Western Reserve. The building was restored by the National Park Service and Northeast Ohio Council of American Youth Hostels. If you've never tried a hostel, rest assured that this is one of the best. (Don't take our word for it; in 2006, The Washington Post ranked Stanford Hostel
among the top ten best in the US!) Reservations are advisable.
