The goal at Stars & Stripes Gymnastics Academy is to provide children's educational programs through physical activity. The company believes that every child, no matter his or her age and skill, deserves the opportunity to feel the empowerment of athletics - and that gymnastics offers extreme physical challenges that are great foundations for every sport. Besides the physical attributes the sport provides, Stars & Stripes Gymnastics Academy takes the approach that gymnastics is also highly beneficial for children's self-esteem, attitude, and mental well-being. Gymnastics and tumbling classes are offered for children ages two and up. A boys' course for those ages five and up is also offered. Older kids can partipate in competitive gymnastics and cheering programs. Families can hold birthday parties at the center on Saturdays and Sundays. Although parents are not allowed in the gym, they can watch their children from a dedicated party room. A typical party is two hours in length and consists of supervised gym activities that include obstacle courses, parachute play, bouncer castle, and gymnastics. After the gym time, the kids move into a decorated party room, where cake and ice cream can be brought in (balloons and paper products are supplied). The price is $249 for 12 people; each additional guest is $8. A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required.
