The Staybridge Suites hotels offer two terrific choices for families visiting the Orlando area. The venue on International Drive is perfect for families booking a vacation that includes visits to Disney along with some of the other Orlando Theme parks (it's located just about equidistant from Sea World and Universal) and right on the main Orlando "strip." Families can walk to off-beat attractions like Ripley's Believe It or Not, or to mini-golf, and dozens of family friendly restaurants. The International Drive venue has a small pool and a jacuzzi. The Lake Buena Vista location is a better choice for families planning to spend more time at Disney - it's closer to the Disney parks, offers a shuttle service, and it has a bigger pool (but that pool serves a greater number of rooms, so it does even out!) Both locations offer very comfortable suites, ranging from a one bedroom suite that sleeps four to a two bedroom "trio" suite that sleeps eight. All suites include a full kitchen stocked with cutlery, plates, glasses, pots, and pans; a living room area with a pull out couch and cable TV; and one or two bedrooms (two bedroom suites each have their own bathrooms) with individual TVs (channels include HBO, Disney, and Cartoon Network; videos are available from a kiosk in the hotel lobby), CD/radio alarm clocks, and a handy laundry basket, in addition to in-room safes, ironing boards and irons, and other terrific amenities. Cribs are available upon request (reserve one when you make your reservation); high chairs are available for use in the breakfast area. Both hotels also run a full, free, breakfast service for guests, midweek "sundowner" evenings (wine, beer, and sodas are free, along with a nice appetizer buffet), excellent laundry facilities, an arcade for the kids, and a fitness room. The on-site convenience stores are open 24/7, if you've left something important, like tooth brushes or sun block, at home.
