The athletic department sponsors several summer camps and Excellence in Sports youth clinics in a variety of sports. The main sports facility, the J. Ollie Edmunds Center, is also home to many special events throughout the year. The University also offers a number of special programs, summer camps, and workshops for kids. The High Achieving Talented Students (HATS) Program offers a variety of hands-on programs designed to challenge some of Florida's brightest young minds during various sessions throughout the summer, and the Destination Science Summer Camp offers a variety of interactive science programs that challenge kids to engage in critical thinking, problem solving and team building while learning about science.
Take the first DeLand exit (Exit 114) and turn left on State Road 472. Travel approximately three miles and veer right onto Highway 17/92, which later becomes Woodland Boulevard. Travel through downtown DeLand to the campus's main gates at West Minnesota Avenue.
