about Steve & Barry's:

College sweats are cool. Buying at the college bookstore is expensive. Enter Steve and Barry - who did something about the inequities by opening their now-national chain clothing stores. In most stores, each item in stock can be had for less than ten bucks. (We know some kids whose allowances are more than that.) Logo gear isn't limited to local colleges - licensed merchandise of just about any kind is fair game for Steve & Barry's buyers - and sizes accomodate most sizes of shoppers, from the littlest little-leaguers to NBA pros. Well, okay, Stephon Marbury might be one of the few NBA players that really thinks before he plunks down a wad of cash for clothes...but most families think about it, and that's why we like Steve & Barry's.
