Storm Mountain Park offers a bark-based playground that boasts two swings, four slides, simple stairs, and plenty of things to climb on, as well as two tennis courts. The tennis courts have a one hour time limit when people are waiting to play. For the exercise enthusiast, a 1/3 mile walking/jogging path circles soccer fields, which also offer great kite flying space.

Take a blanket and have a picnic on the lawn, or find some shade under the covered pavilion, which contains 10 picnic tables, a drinking fountain, and trash receptacles. The pavilion may also be rented; call for pricing and reservations.

The restrooms are well kept and clean, but do not offer diaper changing stations, and are closed October 15-April 15 due to freezing conditions.

Sandy City parks serve as flood retention ponds, therefore use is restricted when water is present.
