About Storybook Land
For over 50 years, Storybook Land, an amusement park best suited for kids under 12, has kept the spirit of childhood alive in an entertaining and educational atmosphere. The park's refreshingly non-commercial theme is children's stories and nursery rhymes; buildings from these well-known classics can be found (and explored!) throughout the park.
Storybook Land features family rides and attractions in a clean, enjoyable park-like atmosphere. While each ride is suitable for children and adults, all impose height restrictions that are posted on the website. Most Storybook Land rides are gentle old favorites: carousel, Ferris wheel, antique cars, tram, mini-railroad, etc.
Plenty of kid-friendly food - cheese steaks, burgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, fries, popcorn, ice cream and drinks - is offered at various Storybook Land eateries. Although picnic lunches from home are allowed and can be enjoyed in the park's picnic pavilion, commercial food from outside vendors may not been brought into the park.
Restrooms, located by the Gingerbread House at the picnic pavilion and near the Turtle Twirl, are wheelchair accessible and equipped with infant changing tables. A companion restroom facility and mothers' nursing stations are also available. The Castle Gift Shop stocks souvenir items, t-shirts, sweatshirts, stuffed toys, and novelties.
Storybook Land parking is free for all vehicles.

- This place is awesome. I took three boys - ages three, two, and one - there this past weekend. It was shady with lots of trees, very clean, and so much better than anything I would have expected. When there wasn't a line they let the kids stay on for another ride. They were able to ride everything - well, the baby didn't ride the coaster - but he wanted to! This is perfect for toddlers and really easy to navigate. I used a wagon for all the kids and it was perfect. I think my favorite part as a mom was the shade which meant I wasn't continuously having to apply sunblock. This is a must see place, especially if you are down at the shore.

[Submitted by Anonymous7/07/07 - I have a 30-month old and he had fun, but is still a little bit small for some of the rides. The price should be lower for toddlers.

[Submitted by Anonymous7/04/07 - This amusement park is just perfect for little kids. I have a 2- and 3-year-old and they had a blast. Everything at the park is kid friendly and just for them. Very clean and no lines. The staff was very pleasant. I would definately go again!!!
