Get an inside view of Golden Gate Park by boating on circular Stow Lake. You'll pass under graceful arched bridges while gliding past the grounds of the Strybing Arboretum and the Japanese Tea Garden. Walk around the lake and you get to step over rocks past a man-made waterfall. Waterfowl and other birds have made this a nesting area, making this a nice place for beginning birders to explore. Pedal, electric, and rowboat rentals are available.
