If it's great views you're after, look for the signature space-age Stratosphere Tower hovering above the Strip. The Stratosphere, one of the Strip's larger hotels, offers views from its observation deck, any of the hotel towers' rooms, and even from the swimming pool and recreation deck, which are on the eighth floor. Families with young children may want to consider that the hotel is a tad off the beaten track - walking to the main attractions on the Strip will be a trek. For slightly older kids, the biggest draw here is three thrill rides located perilously atop the tower.
