The Strawberry Stand Wetland Learning Center, part of the San Dieguito River Park, is a great place to learn about wetlands, watersheds, and the the San Dieguito Lagoon Wetland Restoration Project. Trained volunteer docents are on hand Saturday mornings to held kids and their grownups get as much as they can out of the place. Look for interpretive signage to provide even more information. The award-winning Center is actually a converted strawberry stand, thus it's name.
