On the first and third Wednesday of every month (except January), parents, kids, and strollers converge on Golden Gate Park for a brisk one-hour tour of a particular area within the Park. The popular program is organized by the San Francisco Parks Trust, which supplies each tour with a guide. The guides offer a historical perspective on the Park, and keep everyone moving at a fast clip. Participants get a chance to learn a little more about the city, exercise, and meet other parents and kids. And it's free. For more information, visit the Park Guides Web Page.
