Stuffington Bear Factory isn't your typical mall activity center. It's a real working stuffed animal factory, one of the few remaining in the United States.

The factory offers free, education-oriented tours daily at 1pm. Visitors learn about the design and manufacturing process, as well as facts about Teddy Roosevelt - stuffed bear namesake and our nation's 26th president.

Tours are popular and can accommodate a maximum of 25 people, so reservations are suggested. School, group, and private tour options are also available and must be arranged in advance. The factory offers a huge assortment of stuffed animals and gift items for retail and wholesale purchase. Clothing, accessories, gift baskets, and shipping services are also available. Most kids will prefer to create their own new friend. Families can drop by anytime during normal business hours to select a bear or southwest animal form and use Stuffington's kid-friendly equipment to stuff, bathe, brush and dress their pet.

Birthday parties are a big hit at Stuffington. Packages include a factory tour and one hour in the private party room. Guests make their own bear to take home and receive a bear birth certificate. The birthday child also selects an outfit for their bear to wear home. Add-on food and beverage packages are also available. A minimum of six guests are required.
