When I looked at her website and discussed some of my ideas of what I wanted, she agreed to do the work and forwarded a picture of what we were looking for and thought I was going to be pleased with the end result. I selected Pablo from the Backyardigans. I sent her several pictures. She charged me $300.00 for the cake and promised me to be precise with all the details I wanted. On the day of my son's birthday party, I went to go pick up the cake from her apartment in Harlem on Malcom X Boulevard 5 floor walk up. Her apartment looked like it hasn't been clean for months and was a complete mess! She had my son's cake on the radiator and NO REAL BASE FOR IT! I started getting nervous and starting to pace back and forth and noticed her kitchen area -- it was totally gross! Dust balls and hairs allover the floor. The "King Pablo" cake looked horrible! Pablo looked like he was smoking illegal paraphanalia and was crooked!!!!! It was bad enough that everything that could have gone wrong did, I took the cake with he half *** box she put it in. I think she thought she did a great job and posted the cake on the website. If things didn't go wrong yet - put on your seat belts... I placed the cake on th floor of the car, driving 10 miles p/hr, Pablo becomes decapitated! His head falls off and was a complete failure. Icing all over my carpet and seats. When I called her, she apologized but said there was nothing that could be done for us. Had to go get another cake from Carvel. Thank goodnees for American Express. Disputed the charge and didnt have to pay for her incompetence! I strongly recommend you to NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS LADY! If the cake would have been good at least I would have critiqued the presentation but maybe things happen for a reason!

I ordered two cakes for my boyfriend's surprise party and they were amazing!! Michelle was easy to work with and made the process fun. Everyone loved the cakes--the way they looked & tasted...they were a complete hit. She was very inventive and did a terrific job. I would recommend her services to anyone! And the price was very reasonable compared to what I had been quoted by snoody bakeries around the city.

Although it seemed like a crowd pleasure I have to say this was the sweetest cake I have ever tasted, a little too sweet for my taste. There were some photos of my daughter that I had sent to Michele and she frosted those onto the cake. That was a nice touch.

It was my sons 1st birthday party. It was suppose to be his very first cake. A special gift from his mother and I to him. A $300.00 Pablo (The Backyardigans)cake with 40 servings. When the cake finally arrived 3 hrs late, it looked as if it was made by an amateur. Hideous. Pablo looked constipated and sick. His eyes were droopy and his head kept falling off. Michelle, who makes these cakes, had her hands all over the cake(with no gloves), the cake had finger prints all over his head as she tried to fix the cake by using a piece of styrofoam to balance his head from slding off of his body. It is our opinion that she should have never showed up with the cake and she should have offered us a full refund.
To further insult us she only offered us a refund of the delivery and 25% of the cost of the cake. Although, she did apologive profusely it really fell on deaf ears. The cake fell apart after she left and we threw it in the garbage. A complete waste of money.
Everyone was expecting to see this really beautiful cake that my wife had been bragging about all week and when the cake arrived, we thought it was a joke. My wife could have made a better cake.
My sons first birthday party was ruined. I will never do business with ths company again nor will I recommend this place to any of my friends. Feel free to contact me if you would like to see pics of our disaster cake.

My child's first birthday was a day to remember! Especially because of the hard work and dedication Michelle put into making the cake at the last minute no less! It was a two teired Pikachu cake in 3D! She even through in the "power ball" the character uses on the cartoon . We weren't even expecting that! It was a nice surprise. My Husband picked up the cake and said Michelle was kind and he loved her work also! The kids loved the cake so much, they didn't want us to cut it! lol! But once we did, the strawberry cream cheese filling was all the rage on everyone's taste buds! I as well as all our friends will be using Michelle from now on!

Excellent rasberry & cream cake! I simply gave michelle my ideas and they came to life on a 2 layer cake for my nephew! it was a disney theme cake. Michelle has the best price,service,and creativity.will be ordering a another cake soon!

We ordered a 3-Dimensional Volcano Cake. The cake, looked great, tasted great and it was priced so much more reasonably then anyone else I called. We will use her again.
