The Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center is the site for a marine science camp, where kids ages 7-9 and 10-14 get hands-on experience working with South Florida's ecosystem. Among the activities for campers are snorkeling in Biscayne Bay, playing fun science games, participating in squid dissection, kayaking alongside a fossilized reef, and collecting and releasing specimens. Lunch is not included, but snacks are served. There are three one-week sessons: June 5-9, June 12-16, and June 19-23. Please call to reserve a spot.
