If your child wants to walk with the animals, the Summer Safari Day Camp at Lion Country Safari is a great option for the summer. During weekly summer sessions from 9:30am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, children ages six to 13 help prepare animal diets, observe behaviors, participate in feedings and presentations, and become keepers for a day. The zoological experience is rounded out by swimming, rides, arts & crafts, and group games. Children receive lunch, snacks, a T-shirt, sport bottle, baseball cap, daily admission, crafts, and a souvenir photo. There is an additional per week discount if the camper attends for 2 or more weeks. Before and after care is available from 8am-5:30pm.
