Anyone who resides or owns property in Summit County is entitled to a free Summit County Library library card. The card can be used at the Kamas, Kimball Junction, and Coalville branches; acceptable proof of residency is required. For non-residents, a $25 annual fee per household is charged. Visitors and short-term residents with proof that they are staying within the city limits can get a temporary card for a $25 deposit.
The Kamas Library hosts a variety of storytimes, book clubs, summer reading clubs, and special events for kids, teens, and families.
