Sunset Campground in Davis County is open June through September, weather permitting. The campground has a total of 12 single sites, which hold eight people and one vehicle each. Additional vehicles can be brought in for a small fee. One small group site is available for overnight use. All camp sites have tables, grills, and fire circles, and vault toilets are provided in the campground. No trash receptacles are available, so campers must pack trash out. No reservations are taken at Sunset Campground; all sites are first come, first served. Dogs are welcome in the camp and picnic areas, but must be leashed at all times. Fires are only permitted in the fire rings, and campers must bring their own wood. Recreational opportunities/facilities available at the campground include hiking (Sunset Point and Farmington Canyon Trails), picnicking, camping, wildlife & birdwatching, mountain biking, and horseback riding.
