Surprisingly nobody had mentioned the nonprofessional manor that was displayed in my home. Coming in with an entitled attitude and immediately asking (in demanding manor) for refreshments. Then to completely clutter my kitchen counters with dirty tools, bits and parts, chargers, paperwork, calculators etc. So much so that I had to move items and clean my counters to make my childrens lunches and then have to clean the bar area to have a place to sit. Then to receive the "attitude" again when he rearranged his tools back all over my counters. This doesnot even include the totes and drill cases left scattered about the floors. Being asked to "grab my phone" was also a bit much. Before leaving my home he stated he could return to do a few other little details when my house "wasn't so busy". Many other acts could be mentioned (like leaving trash in my garage) but we will leave it at this: if you are looking for someone to cone into your home and treat you and your house in a professional manor, you may want to look elsewhere.

Lou did an amazing job babyproofing our home. He spent several hours assessing our home and installing the most appropriate gates or locks to make it safe. He was able to utilize equipment I bought (but couldn't figure out how to install) and also brought extra gates with him that matched our decor. His prices were totally reasonable for all the work he did (including equipment, strapping all our furniture to the walls, etc). He even addressed issues that we would have as our daughter got older...something that I am so thankful for as she gets more adept at opening high cabinets! Highly recommend!!

Lou is a super nice guy who installed gates at the top and bottom of our stairs. I was afraid my almost three year old son, who is obsessed with tools, would get in the way. Boy was I super suprised and thrilled when Lou not only let him watch and patiently answered his power tool questions--Lou actually used him as his drill and wrench helper. My son still talks about Lou and the tools he used on the gates. As to the quality and safety of the gate itself-- my infant daughter loves to pull up on the gate at the top of the stairs and shake it...several months later and still safe and sturdy. Based on the reviews here and elsewhere, we hired Lou Heinz to install a child safety gate at the top of a stairway with a cast iron railing and banister. Am I ever glad we did! He inspected the situation, picked the perfect gate (black--to match the banister), and installed it--all within about 2 hours. His prices are extremely reasonable, and he's a nice guy to boot. I definitely recommend calling him for any childproofing needs you have, big or small.

We were really happy with Lou's service. For 2 working parents, we didn't have much time to research the best babyproofing materials (much less install them). For a reasonable price, Lou was able to inspect the home, suggest the best materials and install them all in one day. How convenient!

As a mother of 7 month old twins, I knew we needed to have our home babyproofed by someone who knew what they were doing. We were referred to Lou by several people in our multiples club. Lou was able to provide us with custom gates for our oversized stair cases and make them blend in with our black wrought-iron spindles. We get lots of compliments on how nice they look, and they are very safe.

Lou has babyproofed 2 houses for us. We have 3 kids under 5. When they start crawling, you need to be child-proofed. They need places where its a 'yes' zone so you don't drive yourself crazy following them around and saying 'No' every 5 seconds. Lou comes over, has all the stuff, installs it for you, and makes recommendations about what is important. He takes all the guess work out of it (like which gates work best - we have 3 different ones.) His prices are reasonable and it just makes your house better!

Lou at Super Safe Tots safety-proofed my first home when my first daughter was about 1 and our second home (we moved) when my second daughter became mobile at 10 months. Stop, do not pass go, do not collect $200. Instead, drop everything and call Lou to the rescue. I cannot say enough positive things about the service that Lou provides to parents. Lou's products are much better than those found in your local stores, and he installs everything for very reasonable fees. Child/Babyproofing can be overwhelming and time consuming...so I recommend Lou to everyone that I know, because he is simply the best. He thinks of things that you will not and offers simple solutions. He'll also offer free advice like avoiding wicker baskets or wicker furniture due to it being a choking hazard. Hire Lou; you will not be sorry. Even though my son is now three and a half, I am still using and enjoying many of Lou's child proofing products.

Super Safe Tots did a wonderful job to babyproof our home for our newborn and almost 2 year old sons. Lou actually took time out to spend time playing with our 2 year old and getting to know our family's needs. I felt completely comfortable having him in our home. He provided us with an in depth Safety Evaluation and did a great job of seeing our house from the eyes of our baby (now toddler).
