about T-Bone Tom's Restaurant:

A great alternative to the big chain restaurants on the nearby Kemah Boardwalk, T-Bone Tom's is like a back-country roadhouse with some of the best barbecue in the area. Seating is available both indoors and in "the backyard" - a vast patio out back, which also hosts live music on weekends.

With an on-site meat market, Tom's makes its own sausage daily, and the brisket is top-notch. The restaurant also serves up steaks, great burgers, chicken, pork chops, sandwiches, and seafood. Starters include soups, salads, and appetizers such as wings, calamari, and "armadillo eggs" (breaded jalapenos filled with barbecued brisket).

The kids' menu features burgers, barbecue sandwiches, mac 'n' cheese, and chicken-fried steak fingers. High chairs and booster seats are available. The only drawback to the whole place is the restroom situation - small and not especially clean.

Desserts are worth a special trip and include key lime pie, peach cobbler, cheesecake, ice cream, and more.

Customers can call ahead to pick up to-go orders, and Tom's also offers catering.
