About T-Rex Cafe
The winner of our 2008 Parents' Picks quest to find the best family-friendly restaurant in Kansas City, T-Rex Cafe is part restaurant, part gift shop, part interactive attraction. Enormous animatronic dinosaurs "watch" while diners enjoy a menu full of all-American, family-friendly choices from seafood to burgers, sandwiches to KC barbeque. Kids' choices include pizza, pasta, grilled cheese, and more.
After dinner, visit the gift shop for lots of dino-themed items sure to make aspiring paleontologists happy. There's also a place for kids to excavate and uncover prehistoric treasures. Birthdays party packages are available.
