Taharka Brothers is a unique ice cream shop - one that hires urban young men, brings them together, and teaches them business strategy and entrepreneurship in a program run by the Sylvan Beach Foundation. Sylvan Beach is a non-profit foundation which functions to assist at-risk Baltimore youth and teaches them the intricacies of business strategy and entrepreneurship with the ultimate goal that each of these student-workers will found his own business prior to his graduation from the program.

And one of the many benefits of this program is seriously good ice cream!
