about Tamarack Nature Center:

Located within Bald Eagle-Otter Lakes Regional Park in White Bear Township, Tamarack encompasses a 320-acre park preserve with over four miles of paths, a special dock that provides a scenic overlook onto Tamarack Lake, and lots of opportunities for observing wildlife and seasonal foliage. The main building includes classrooms, live animal exhibits, an early childhood area, and restrooms.

The center hosts family-friendly events, and arts and summer programming. Call 651.407.0597 for information on upcoming offerings.

Parties: Kids ages three to 12 can celebrate their birthdays during two-hour parties at the nature center, with or without a naturalist-led component. Call 651.407.5350 for more information or to book a date.

tips:

No pets are allowed on nature center trails, but there's an off-leash dog area near the Otter Lake boat launch, just north of the center.

Just east of Highway 35E, south of Otter Lake and County Road H2.
