Tannen's is truly a magician's paradise. Not only can aspiring magicians find just about anything they might need here, they can also take lessons or sign up for Tannen's incredible one-week summer sleep-away camp.
Individual lessons are available for magicians over the age of eight on weekday evenings from 6pm-7pm. Cost per lesson is $150/hour. Group lessons (three to four students) are held on Monday evenings from 6pm-7pm and cost $250 for a set of three lessons. Teens only.
Beginner's Magic workshops are open to wizards ages seven to nine, and 10-17.
Tannen's Summer Magic Camp is revving up for its 34th year with a week at Bryn Mawr College, about nine miles west of Philadelphia, scheduled for Saturday, July 12th to Saturday, July 19th, 2008. Houdinis ages 12 and up are advised to register early! The cost of tuition, room, and board is $1195 plus a $65 application fee; various transportation options are also available. Complete information and an application are available online.
