TeacherCare is an in-home childcare agency, placing highly trained professionals throughout the Chicago area (as well as New York and Washington DC). The professionals are often former teachers, all with extensive education and childcare experience. While parents are away at work, children can work with a personalized teacher who is looking for those teachable moments throughout the day. TeacherCare offers inspiring, specialized care and individualized and nurturing attention for infants through early school-age children. TeacherCare provides one on one tutoring for children ages 18 months to ten years, as well. Full-time fees vary. Once a teacher is placed, a fee that is a percentage of the first year's salary is applied. Part-time placements are also available.
