The
Tempe History Museum explores the history of Tempe, from the stories of the prehistoric Hohokam Indians to today's vibrant college town. The museum's Children's Gallery offers a theater-type space and a number of interactive activities, and the Little Devil's Stadium provides a protected space for babies and toddlers to move about and play.
Children ages six to 12 can earn rewards by participating in Tempe History Detectives, an ongoing museum activity that encourages kids to explore Tempe's past. Visit the website for more information.
The museum also operates the
Petersen House Museum.
