The 73rd Avenue Theatre Company is a non-profit organization that offers quality artistic shows and classes in the performing arts, including theater, dance, and music.
The company provides at least one bilingual (English/Spanish) workshop and one bilingual show each year, reaching out to those people who may have a Hispanic background or that are interested in learning more about the Hispanic culture.
The theater offers two summer camp sessions for children (ages 6-12). Participants create their own play, from the script to the costumes and set. The camp hours are divided equally so in the first part of the day the children receive the basic techniques in acting, dance (jazz) and music. The second half of the day the children will work with the teachers in creating their own show to be presented to their families the Saturday after the last day of Camp.
