The Anderson School (PS 334), a unique K-8 New York City public school, offers an accelerated curriculum to children deemed to possess superior intellectual potential. Children living in any of the five boroughs of New York City may apply for admission, which is highly selective.
Children applying to elementary grades who achieve a score in the 97th percentile or higher on the Department of Education-administered Otis-Lennon School-Age Ability Tests (OLSAT) and Bracken School Readiness Assessment (BSRA) are sent an application for Anderson by the Department of Education. Students applying for 6th and 7th grade apply directly to Anderson using Anderson's own application which is downloadable from their website.
