Anchored by Books-A-Million, The Avenue Peachtree City is an outdoor shopping center with plenty of retailers for kids and parents. Shops include One Magnolia Lane, Baby Gap, Gap Kids, the Children's Place, and Shenanigans Toys.
During Halloween, merchants welcome trick-or-treaters in costume, and the holidays find the shopping center dressed in its December best, with fun programs for families.
Camp Avenue, offered in the summer, is a free program for kids with storytelling, a pet parade, inflatables for bouncing, and arts and crafts projects. Check the website for dates. the program runs 9:30am-11:30am on scheduled days. While all activities at Camp Avenue are complimentary, campers are asked to bring school supplies to each event to benefit local organizations. Camp Avenue is designed for children ages 3-10. Each camper must be accompanied by an adult (parent or guardian) at all times during activities.
