about The Berry Ranch:

The Berry Ranch is a family run ranch where fresh fruits and veggies are grown, and livestock is raised. It's a refreshing escape from the city, and a reminder that there once was a time when factory farming didn't rule - when people knew their neighbors and worked together as a community. An old dairy barn on the ranch serves as a retail store where folks can purchase honey and seasonal fruits and veggies. Visitors can also wander the livestock corrals and see the collection of antique farm machinery.

Two berry festivals are hosted each year at the ranch; the Strawberry Festival on Memorial Day, and the Raspberry Festival on July 4.

The ranch offers "pick your own" during the peak of the season for various fruits. Call or check the website for exact dates, but in general it's June for strawberries and Rocky Mountain blueberries, July for raspberries, and August for blackberries. "Pick your own" hours are 8am-12n Mon-Sat.

Pumpkin "pick your own" runs through October. Hours are Mon-Fri 4pm-6pm; Sat 10am-6pm; Sun 1pm-6pm.

Thanksgiving turkeys can be pre-ordered by phone.

A farm isn't complete without animals, and The Berry Farm doesn't disappoint. Pheasants, sheep, cows, and pigs roam the acreage, and honeybees tend their hives. A glass beehive in the farm's store allows visitors a peek into the lives of bees. Spring is a great time to visit the ranch to get your fill of baby animals.
